This is Michael’s debut in the world of professional Music theatre, and he is delighted with the opportunity to be part of such a fantastic show. Michael graduated from NIDA in 2009, where he studied Music Theatre under the course direction and singing tuition of Avigail Herman. During the course he studied acting under Tony Knight, Darren Gilshenan and Stephen Rassios, and dance under Katie Kermond, Stephen Colyer and Elise McCann. He has previously studied singing with Geoffrey Castles and Sean Andrews, and is currently learning from the charismatic Pat Wilson. He has appeared in the TV series “Out of the Blue”, the Stadium Spectacular “Ben Hur” in 2010, and in that same year spent 6 months in Macau singing at the Venetian Resort Hotel. When he is not treading the boards, Michael is a Rowing Coach at both St Joseph’s College and the University of New South Wales (where he also still competes). He would like to thank his family and friends for all their support (especially Mum, Dad and Rosie), and hopes you thoroughly enjoy this wonderful production of the classic South Pacific!
